A: No, the system does this for you automatically.

Q: Does Express Deposit enable better funds availability?
A: It may if your current deposit process and schedule keeps you from making deposits promptly, or if your current bank has posting cut-off times. All Bank of the Ozarks' offices provide same day deposit posting. However, the same rules regarding funds availability apply to both remote and in-person deposits.

Q: How do I logoff from the Express Deposit system?
A: Simply exit the application by clicking "File" and then "Exit" or by clicking on the "X" in the upper right corner of the Window.

Q: How many items can I go back and review?
A: The Express Deposit system has been set up to store on your computer 30 days of data for your review. You can also request copies of images directly from Bank of the Ozarks.

Q: What if I make a mistake and enter the incorrect amount for a deposit?
A: The Express Deposit system reads the amounts on the checks and balances them against the deposit total you entered. In the case of a discrepancy, you will have the opportunity to correct the amount because only deposits that balance will transmit.

Q: What should I do with checks that are damaged or otherwise will not scan?
A: You will need to deposit these checks at a Bank of the Ozarks branch.

Q: What should I do with the paper checks after scanning them?
A: Print a copy of the Deposit Report and store it with the associated scanned checks. We suggest that you store the original paper checks in a secure, fire-proof filing cabinet.

Q: What type of checks can I scan for deposit?
A: Any check made out for U.S. dollars that has a valid U.S. bank routing and transit number is valid for scanning.

Q: Will my statements look different if I use Express Deposit?
A: No.

A: Yes, for seven years.

A: Yes. You will be able to easily distinguish an Express Deposit slip when you view your statement images.

Q: What is the proper sequence of the LED lights when the scanner is powered on?
A: The proper LED sequence is for the right LED to come on 'red', followed by the right LED turning 'green' once the application has been launched. If the right LED does not come on 'red', check the power and USB cable connections.

Q: What is the safe distance to keep the power supply from the scanner to prevent electromagnetic interference with the MICR read head in the scanner?
A: Keep the power supplies and other electromagnetic devices 12-18 inches away from the scanner to keep them from interfering with the magnetic read head.

A: Once opened, the practical life of the inkjet cartridge is six months. However, the rated character yield on the inkjet cartridge is between 5-7 million characters.
